About Me – Nest Reset Co.
Hi, I’m Teri. I’m a busy mom of three navigating the stay-at-home mom life while my husband is at work. Most days, you’ll find me right here at home—cleaning, prepping, organizing, planning, baking, or diving headfirst into a new project.
I started Nest Reset Co. because I wanted a place to share the things I enjoy doing. Over the years I’ve tried many different hobbies — knitting, nail tech work, painted mats and more. I’ve always enjoyed creating and learning new things, and this space gives me a place to share whatever I’m enjoying at the moment. Some days that’s baking bread. Other days it might be organizing a space or trying a sewing project that may or may not go as planned.
I really enjoy creating, baking, and organizing our home. I love coming up with systems that make things run a little smoother for our family — although I’ve learned not to expect those systems to last forever. As the kids grow and we move through different seasons of life, what works for us changes too. Sometimes you just have to adjust and try something new.
Life in our house isn’t perfectly organized. In fact, most days are loud, busy, and a little chaotic. I love a good plan and a tidy space, but if I’m being honest, about 85% of the time our house feels like a whirlwind.
And while this isn’t meant to be a food blog, honestly, so much of motherhood revolves around food. Wake up and feed the kids, pack lunches, figure out what’s for dinner, hand out what feels like 100 snacks a day, and somewhere in there try to remember to feed yourself too.
So naturally, food and baking have found their way into this space. I love making things from scratch when I have the time, finding easy recipes my kids actually enjoy, and having things tucked away in the freezer that make busy days a little easier.
Nest Reset Co. is about the small resets that happen along the way — whether that’s resetting a space, figuring out a routine that works for right now, filling the freezer, tackling a new project, or sometimes just resetting your mindset.
If you’re another mom just trying to make it through the busy and chaotic days, you’re in the right place. Life doesn’t have to be perfect. Some weeks you bake the bread, and some weeks you buy it — and that’s okay!
