The beginning of our Nest Reset has not been going so well…
Day one, I managed to get the desk out of our master bedroom and down to its new space in the basement. With that came going through the mountains of accumulated stuff that somehow ended up in our room over the last five months.
After dealing with that, I turned around and found a stack of bins… safe to say I still do not need more bins.
By the end of the night, we had one shelf brought in from the garage… and somehow I found myself back on the floor sorting Lego again
Everything kind of got put on pause after that. The contractors came back to finish closets and then my husband and I snuck away for a few days in the sun.
So here we are.
The house is still a complete gong show… but I guess that’s just the nature of home renos.
Countertops are going in soon, which means we’ll be able to finish plumbing, and then hopefully things can start moving into place and feeling a little more settled.
So this is where we’re starting… not exactly organized, but at least moving in the right direction.
